How to use it

The control tower is the page to keep open on the big screen.

  • Range tabs. Today, This week and This month change the throughput chart and the counts. Everything else is live.
  • The map. Pins for containers, trucks, vessels and drones, drawn locally without map tiles. Pins with a problem (a delayed shipment, a truck in maintenance or offline) are highlighted. Hover a pin for its details.
  • Fleet counts show trucks, containers, vessels and drones in play right now.
  • Throughput plots shipments, in transit, delivered and delayed per day. A spike in delayed is usually one port; the Exceptions page tells you which.
  • Recent shipments is a shortcut into Shipments.

Exceptions is the morning list: shipments behind plan, reefers that left their temperature range, shipments missing documents close to arrival, stock below half its reorder point, and trucks late for their dock slot. You can filter it by kind. Each row links to the page where you fix it. The list is built from simple rules over the data, not a model, so it's the same every time you look.

Integrations

The Integrations page in Overview lists the connectors below and the status of each. Owners and admins connect them; everyone else sees them read-only. Every connector is a mock in this build. See Connections for auth and plans.

  • MarineTraffic · Vessel positions. AIS positions for the vessels carrying your containers.
  • OpenStreetMap · Maps. Coastlines and port locations under the live map.
  • Slack · Alerts. Exceptions posted to an ops channel.
  • project44 · Ocean visibility. Carrier milestones for every container on the water.
  • Samsara · Truck telematics. Truck GPS and engine status from your own fleet.
